Cancellation Policy.

Build packages can be cancelled at any time by emailing hello@vervhq.com with your project name and desired end date.

• Before kickoff — if scoped work has not started, your deposit is fully refundable.
• During production — you are invoiced for work completed to date at the SOW milestone rate or our standard rate of $150/hr, whichever is lower. Any remaining deposit is applied against this invoice; overages are refunded.
• After final delivery — cancellation is not applicable. Post-delivery support falls under the 30-day defect warranty in our Terms of Service.

Retainers are designed to compound — the longer we work together, the sharper the output gets — but we are not interested in locking you in past the point of usefulness.

• Starter & Growth retainers — 3-month minimum commitment. After that, month-to-month.
• Scale retainers — 6-month minimum commitment. After that, month-to-month.
• Early cancellation inside the minimum period requires payment of the remaining committed months, less any unspent retainer credit. This is the only penalty and is waived if the cancellation is for a material breach on our side.

We require 30 days written notice for retainer cancellation. Notice counts from the date we receive your email, and the final billing period is the one that ends after those 30 days.

Example: notice given on the 10th of a month means the next monthly invoice is billed as usual and service ends at the end of that following month.

Within 5 business days of your effective end date we will:

• Transfer all project files, source assets, and design files to a cloud drive you control.
• Hand off credentials, API keys, and third-party account access.
• Provide a short offboarding document with context and recommended next steps.
• Wind down any ongoing services — paid media campaigns, SEO work, content schedules — with a transition plan.

Completed deliverables remain yours under the IP terms of your SOW.

We reserve the right to terminate an engagement with 30 days notice if:

• Payment is more than 30 days overdue without an agreed payment plan.
• The client repeatedly fails to provide necessary feedback, approvals, or assets, blocking progress.
• The working relationship has deteriorated to a point where continuing would not serve either party.

In these cases you are invoiced only for work completed to date and we honor all offboarding commitments above.
